The legendary fragrance of Old Spice seems to go awry now.
Isaiah Mustafa, the American actor who made waves being The Man Your Man Could Smell Like in the popular Old Spice advertisement in 2010, was made to yield the space of the Old Spice man to Fabio Lanzoni last month. Everything was fragrant until yesterday when a parody of the Issaih Mustafa ad featuring Fabio Lanzoni went as an upload on the newoldspiceguyfabio channel. Hialrious that it was, it created quite a furore among the female following.
The same day, Issaih Mustafa sprung to life accepting the challenge in a video uploaded to the original OldSpice YouTube channel. A promo video was posted to the OldSpice channel advertising a face off event that would take place on July 26th, 2011 at 12 pm EST between Fabio and Isaiah.
Old Spice would sure have its old faithfuls (as well as the others) hooked to this manhood/marketing phenomena
